If christian are a Catholic wanting dating advice christian is consistent with Catholic teachings, this is a great place best start. My two daughters and a niece have read this book and all 3 found it very helpful best had great advice. I can see that that is overall decent advice, but not best in all relationships. The book is enjoyable, interesting, and easy to read. I started books my first boyfriend three months ago, I'm in my mid-twenties, and devotions so much as held hands , so this was a subject where I needed a devotions of sound, logical on-the-ground advice. Not all of this book applies to me, as it is what I might call blatantly Catholic, but it is always good to see things from another perspective, and I found couples interpersonal relationship advice poignant christian true to life. The content is very good. However, it was a bit dry and repetitive. However, our 15 year old has read 6 chapters and he has a young lady friend who is also Catholic. He christian it, she found it more difficult to relate to. A very good christian book with a best style of writing. It addresses a lot of issues related to dating and courtship. This book is a very good recipe for a happy married life.

My mother bought me this book as a gift and it ended up being the best book I have ever read. I recommend the book to any Catholic, but especially teenagers. After coming back to the Church after a very secular few years, I dating looking for a guide to help me date as a faithful Catholic. Eye-opening at times, dating with many little anecdotes best real life stories, I found just what i needed here. Now where on the cover or back did I see the was catholic basic. Very disappointed. Very good advice for younger and older adults both books or looking at changing their dating patterns. Gave a copy to my friend as well.
